Finally I am shooting colour!! (Fujifilm x100VI)

Hello! Well it has been a while since I have been on here and almost 3 years (I think, vaguely) since I shot colour on my cameras and in photography in general. Image making as a part of my practise is something that has fallen out of favour, it is something I feel out of love with for a good while after my degree. Honestly unsure why, I think there is a part where if you are not careful with a passion - being forced to make work that you dislike with it can halt the love you feel for it. That has been the case here I feel. Certainly after my seizures of the past year, uncertain health issues and the general health roller coaster I have been on photography has been pushed further and further behind in my artistic loves.

That has been till these last few days. My money has allowed me to purchase a new tool, the Fujifilm x100VI, and this is what this page is about. No tech review, or talk of specs or comparing it to anything. That I have no interest in. This will just be a collection of images I take with it. A true visual sketchbook of the work I take as a relearn my skill, become a little less rusty behind the lens and slowly learn to be at one behind the lens again. All these images are straight out of the camera, no photoshop or post edits. Just me, having fun with a camera once again and learning old things and new.

I will say one thing before I go - Please genuinely do leave any constructive crits here. Treat the comments sections like a photography crit space. Be honest with the artistic vision, technical skills, composition, personal taste. Anything. While I am just getting back into it I do value fellow artists and photographers thoughts! So please leave honest, helpful criticism in the comments.
