Cj Pitcher is a multidisciplinary artist based in North Cumbria, England.

Their practice explores the concept of Materials, Ceremonies and Rituals. Currently there is a specific research focus on these and their potential role(s) within the field of Nuclear Semiotics*.

Cj uses a diverse range of mediums including bricolage sculpture, photography and text. Incorporating these elements to create dynamic, thought-provoking works that engage the senses, spark conversation, and consider new ways of thinking about art.

*Nuclear Semiotics is the multidisciplinary field of research on long-term nuclear waste warning messages. Communication attempts to deter human incursion into nuclear waste repositories in the far future (At a magnitude of 10,000 years)
